Here are pictures of Kai’s first day at her new home. As you can see, she does love to get into the shade! The second picture is of her with dear old Hercules who loves puppies. Did you know that she is a tv watcher? She also loves our seasonal creek and plays in it like a big dog! Yesterday I stayed home sick and she either was playing hard all over the living room (I closed off all the bedrooms-carpet) or begged to get up with me on the sofa and slept. NO accidents! Thank you so much for this wonderful addition to our life. Pat
Kai must be well adjusted to life with me…..she now weighs 13 lbs!!!!! You should see her right now in my office-laid out sleeping on her back. Have I mentioned how much I love her? Thanks again to Hilo for a job well done! Pat

Sophie is Kai's doggie sister. Sophie is not one of our dogs.
Iggie is here!!! He made it all the way from Hungary and is doing FANTASTIC!!! He is so sweet and loveable. He likes to play but mostly likes to sleep on your lap and cuddle. Kade and Iggie get along great and it will be fun to watch them grow up together.

Hi Kate,
Just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our new puppy. She prefers to sleep in Lauren's bean bag chair as opposed to the crate. She does go in her crate at night, we haven't totally spoiled her yet. We are TOTALLY in love with her. Here's a few pictures.

Kodi's Mom and dad decided he needed a playmate so Phoebe was sent to them to add to their family. Here is what they have to say:
"Well, we were completely worried the entire drive home with the baby...did we do the right thing, is Kodi going to be upset, do we have too many animals???...., and when we arrived, I sat her in the front yard to do her business before she had to come in and meet the circus we have inside...Kodi, who NEVER goes out the front door, charged out like a locomotive. I wish you could have seen his face, it was like the face of a six year old on Christmas morning, going downstairs to find a puppy under the tree. I've never seen his tail wag so hard! It was so sweet, I really thought I was going to cry! We got back here about 1am so we were both tired, we made the introductions, put the baby in the kennel and went to bed. "

some adorable pics from miss olivia from the weekend. we went to the park both days and hung out. she was in 7th heaven!
she has been a really good girl. she is up to just about 25 lbs..house breaking has been good - she hasn't had an accident since last thursday so she has it pretty much figured out by now!
she loves the sidewalk though - she has figured out that in nyc all you have to do is sit in one spot and all the people and dogs come to you! i wish we had a bench in front of our building b/c she just LOVES to sit out there and watch the world go by! there have been many times where a line forms of people waiting to pet her! it is totally crazy.
anyway wanted you to know how great she has been - she is calm, smart, and personable with babies, kids, adults and other dogs. she really is a dream. thank you for all your hard work- it pays off when you get such great dogs!

Was thinking of you guys, wanted to give you an update on miss Olivia in the big apple! She has topped 60 lbs at just under 8 months and is the mush of the neighborhood here in nyc. People (including us of course) absolutely ADORE her and she has really taken a liking to the city. She is a VERY social girl and loves her friends in the building. You are going to think its crazy but she has tons of 'playdates' with other dogs and just loves every minute of it! I call her the 'hall monitor' bc when she hears one of her friends walk down the hallway she runs to the door and rings the little bell to try to fool me into thinking she has to go to the bathroom - i know her motivation is to check out all the activity in the hallway.
Anyway, she was spayed last week and all went well with that and we are looking forward to a great turkey day with our girl and 2 other goldens of our friends. I have attached some updated pics of her!

Wanted to send you some updated pics of our Olivia! A couple from her 1st bday with her friend Callie (another golden she plays with every Sunday who is 2 mos older than her). Also believe it or not (crazy NYC) that she was invited to her friend Walter's (a pug) house for his 3rd bday party. It was really crazy new Yorkers and their dogs but everyone had a blast! You will see she tried to take all of Walter's squeaky toys!!
I realized I never take a full size pic standing up so you can really see her. I'll take one and send to you soon so you can see our beauty!
